We have a dedicated surveillance programme for patients with BarrettÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ oesophagus, squamous dysplasia of the oesophagus and familial oesophago-gastric cancer. We offer endoscopic treatment for BarrettÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ and squamous dysplasia and early cancer of the oesophagus including endoscopic mucosal resection and radiofrequency ablation.
All patients with upper GI cancer are discussed at a regional MDT meeting and a joint clinic provides input from gastroenterology, oncology, surgery, dietetics and specialist nursing.
