My current role
I have been a consultant nephrologist at AddenbrookeÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ hospital since 2022, with clinical responsibilities spanning the lupus and vasculitis service, renal transplantation, and specialist glomerular disease clinics.
I am actively involved in clinical trials, with a particular focus on immune-mediated kidney diseases such as FSGS, membranous glomerulonephritis, IgA nephropathy, and ANCA-associated vasculitis.
Previous history
I trained in nephrology and general medicine in the East of England (Cambridge and Stevenage), completing my specialist training in 2021.
I undertook a PhD in immunology at the molecular immunity unit in the laboratory of molecular biology with Prof. Menna Clatworthy, where I investigated how specific immune cell populations (kidney-resident mononuclear phagocytes and innate lymphoid cells) in the kidney contribute to protection against infection and help the kidney heal after injury.
I spent a year as a clinical research fellow funded by the AddenbrookeÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ Charitable Trust/Isaac Newton Trust, and subsequently completed my PhD with support from a Kidney Research UK clinical training fellowship.
I am currently director of studies in medicine at St EdmundÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ College, Cambridge, alongside my clinical and research commitments.

In my spare time, I enjoy being with family and friends, and I’m a keen cyclist who also loves to travel.
